Dell Chromebook 11 review: Too good to be left to the kids

Essentially promising to handle the literal heavy hardware and work, Dell is hoping to woo SMBs to its data centers and networks while offering them access to a larger, more competitive option that could help them scale better and faster.
Small to midsize businesses have two options to peruse: the new Dell X-Series of smart managed switches and the expanded N-Series switches for fully-managed environments.
The latter now encompasses Dell’s big introduction this week: the N1500 family, consisting of fully managed 1GbE and 10GbE switches intended for smaller networks.
Dell is positioning the N1500 as a method for deploying a secure network that still supports social media environments and VoIP communications while prioritizing critical network traffic.
The X-Series also encompasses 1GbE and 10GbE switches, but these ones are touted for being smart and web-managed with “step-by-step wizards” and dashboards.
This might fit the bill for small businesses without virtually any IT resources being that these switches offer more room for customization without demanding professional IT management.
The Dell Networking X-Series is available for order now, while the N1500 will follow this summer.
